My time at DDB was a blast and I learned something every day. I was fortunate to work on some incredible accounts like State Farm, McDonalds, Skittles and the AdCouncil. The cherry on top was working with industry legends who were generous enough to show me the ropes!
For ease of browsing, I decided to put my work into categories rather than by client or individual projects. You’ll see I have the most work in the print category which makes sense as I went to college for Graphic Design. However, that is just the tip of my experience and hopefully these projects to show enough variety to pique your interest.
Though my education was based in print design, I quickly became fascinated by video. I taught myself Final Cut Pro and started hacking around, creating fun videos. My curiosity paired with my “I can figure it out” mentality led me to motion graphics in After Effects. While not a pro in either category, I learned enough to be dangerous and use those skills to enhance my storytelling.
Creative Director. This description is always up for debate as it’s entirely subjective. It depends on the industry, the company and the individual job description.
For me, it’s always meant a variety of things. I’ve led creative teams of 15+ people in media and television production as well as spearheaded brand overhauls for nonprofits and corporations. Creative direction for me has almost always included managing P&Ls, building teams, managing client relations and adhering to project deadlines while still contributing to projects as needed. I pride myself in understanding client needs, designing accordingly and having a knack of inspiring others to do their best work.
Photography and videography have been a passion of mine since I was a little girl. My earliest memories include stealing my parents’ camcorder and camera to shoot anything I could. I continue to take photos and videos, now challenging myself to see how creative a story can be with just the use of a cell phone.
It should come as no surprise that someone who has loved photography and videography her entire life would see a drone and immediately want one. The new perspectives it has provided have been beautiful, challenging and new! These are my first attempts in shooting footage while in the process of pursuing my drone operator’s license.
